When we met, I wasn’t much of a man
At any hour with a drink in my hand
He came through town and he turned people’s heads
That lot of senseless oafs wanted him dead
I offered him a place to rest his head
Far from home, he had been disgraced
Ostracized and sent on his way
Across the lands, to the tundras up north
To retrieve a relic sacred to orcs
He hung his head looking solemn and shamed
Stripped of pride, banished from his clan
Seeking redemption in a faraway land
The path is treacherous, the journey is long
Told him I knew the way and I’d come along
Dusted off armor that had sat for an age
We saddled horses and we went on our way
I didn’t know what this journey would take
We passed through lands I’d only heard of in tales
Rest in a village, quench our thirst with their ales
The orc was quiet but his eyes gave away
A sense a wonder for these beautiful places
He’d never seen the world beyond orcish gates
Traverse the earth, through the mountains and plains
An orcish axe would surely clear our way
To the north, where the air grew thin
Our quest would bring us to our destination
Push onward through this frozen realm
Descend the tombs of ancient elves
Old sentinels still roam this crypt
To guard the heirlooms deep within
Steel clashes under torch’s glow
The orc received a fatal blow
He died for his ancestral blade
Return it to its rightful place

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
