Near a ruined village sitting at the point where rivers meet
The townsfolk stay indoors when the sun reaches its peak
The water’s run foul, tainted by the bodies of sons and daughters
She waits eternally for revenge on those who wronged her
Her cries
Ringing out from the well where she lies
The bride once shunned
Will teach them to fear the midday sun
They sent their strongest men, but their steel left her unscathed
The devil tore through them all, leaving corpses in her wake
A stranger came through town, who claimed that he could kill her
He stood before the hag and unsheathed a blade of silver
Her cries
Ringing out from the well where she lies
The bride once shunned
Will teach them to fear the midday sun
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
this their most solid release to date, there other records are all insanely brilliant, you should buy them if you enjoy this for sure. keep kicking ass and putting some of the best sludge this decade. Ryan Graham
